Assistant Business Analyst / Business Analyst - Supply chain

Ability to communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of business functions and the organization as a whole
Lead requirements gathering, document and ensure business process managers, solution and technology delivery teams have complete understanding of business requirements
Understanding of business process and re-engineering methodologies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency
Produce business and functional design documents, facilitating process mapping workshops
Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided
Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce solutions as well as resolutions to complex problems
Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to recommended solutions
Communicate the benefits of recommended solution across the business areas and help to address any uncertainty and concern
Gather and document non-functional requirements to support the business process and its continuity and communicates these to the technical teams to ensure that these are catered for by the proposed solution
Produce high quality documentation to present requirements, complex problems and potential solutions to these to the programme team and stakeholders when necessary
Document and validate the business and technical steps in transition plans working with the business and technology teams
Assist with the development of SLAs and OLAs for business applications
Support the business programme team in testing and validating the developed solution to ensure that it meets the business requirements
5 years or more experience of relevant IT area, preferably in supply chain or retail industry
Degree educated in an IT or related discipline
Certified in a relevant BA framework (e.g. BCS)
Significant business analysis experience in large scale transformation programmes/projects
Minimum of 7 yearsˇ¦ experience across retail domains with a focus on: Product Lifecycle Management, Product Information Management, Supplier Collaboration, Buying & Sourcing
Experience in the following would be highly desirable: Manufacturing, Trading, Global Logistics Management, Forecasting & Replenishment
Ability to translate business requirements to technical delivery requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills, analytical and technical skill
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
